Smartphone companies in India have announced warranty extension due to the lockdown and in this post, we list the companies that are offering warranty extension for their products.
- ASUS
Users of ASUS Smartphones, Laptops, Desktops, AIO, Tablets get a warranty extension of 30 days and is applicable to users whose warranty has expired during the lockdown period between March 25th, 2020, and April 14th, 2020 - Lenovo and Motorola
Users of Motorola and Lenovo Smartphones, Accessories whose warranty has expired between March 15th, 2020 through April 14th, 2020 get a warranty extension of up to 75 days through May 31st, 2020.
- Samsung
Samsung products whose warranty has expired between March 20th, 2020 and April 30th, 2020 get a warranty extension till May 31st, 2020.
- OnePlus
OnePlus smartphones whose warranty expires during the period March 1st, 2020 through May 31st, 2020, get a warranty extension till May 31st, 2020.
- realme
realme users who purchase/purchased devices during the period March 15th, 2020 to April 30th, 2020 get an additional 30 days replacement period and the company has extended warranty till 31st May 2020.
- Vivo
vivo smartphone users whose warranty expires between the period March 1st, 2020 to May 31st, 2020 get a warranty extension for 90 days.
- OPPO
OPPO smartphone users whose warranty expires after 23rd March 2020 get a warranty extension till May 31st, 2020.
- iQOO
Users who purchased iQOO smartphone before 30th April 2020 get a warranty extension of 90 days.
- TECNO
TECNO smartphone users whose warranty expires between the period March 20th, 2020 to May 31st, 2020 get a warranty extension for 2 months.
- LAVA
LAVA smartphone and feature phone users whose warranty expires between the period March 15th, 2020 to May 15th, 2020 get a warranty extension for 2 months.
- Infinix India
Infinix smartphone users get a warranty extension for 2 months and users can check their warranty status from Carlcare app.
Xiaomi hasn’t announced a warranty extension yet but has said that the company will serve users’ requirements as soon as the situation enables them to.
