Fitbit Versa 2 Smartwatch Announced For Rs. 20,999 Along With Premium Subscription And Aria Air Smart Scale

Today, Fitbit announced Fitbit Versa 2, the next-generation smartwatch and the successor of last year’s model with swim-proof design, innovative sleep features like Sleep Score and smart wake, even more advanced health, fitness and smart features. 

This new model has an on-device microphone, which enables Fitbit’s first-ever Amazon Alexa smartwatch experience, along with a Spotify app that allows users to control their music and podcasts. It will offer faster performance, thousands of apps and clock faces and a brighter, crisper AMOLED screen with an optional always-on mode and 5+ days battery life.

• Estimated Oxygen Variation Graph: Coming soon, this graph will provide users with an estimate of the variability of oxygen levels in their bloodstream. The data is derived from a combination of the red and infrared sensors on the back of your device. Being aware of short-term variations in the oxygen levels in your bloodstream may indicate variations in your breathing during sleep

The Fitbit Versa 2 is priced at Rs. 20,999 for the black with a carbon case, petal with a copper rose aluminum case and stone with a mist grey case. The Versa 2 Special Edition is priced at Rs. 22,999 in navy and pink colors with copper rose aluminum case and smoke with a mist grey case. It rolls out globally beginning September 15, 2019. In India, it will be available from Reliance Digital, Croma, Helios and other major retailers offline and online on Amazon and Flipkart.

Fitbit also announced Fitbit Premium, its new paid membership service in the Fitbit app that uses your unique data to deliver Fitbit’s most personalized experience yet, with actionable guidance and coaching to help you achieve your health and fitness goals.

“Premium leverages insights from 10+ years of Fitbit data as well as academic and medical expertise to help you move more, sleep better and eat well with customized programs, advanced sleep features, personal insights, thousands of workouts, new challenges, health reports and more – all in one place and made just for you,” said the company.

Fitbit Premium will start rolling out in September 2019 at Rs. 819 per month or Rs. 6,999 per year. Fitbit said that it will be exploring promotional pricing and product bundle offers and will continue to expand upon and refine Premium based on customer feedback.

Fitbit also introduced Fitbit Aria Air, expanding the Fitbit Aria product family with a low-cost Bluetooth scale that tracks weight and syncs with the Fitbit app to calculate BMI, giving you a comprehensive view of your trends over time alongside your activity, heart rate, sleep and nutrition data within the Fitbit app.

The Fitbit Aria Air comes in black and white colors, is priced at Rs. 4999 and will be available starting late September 2019 across Reliance Digital, Croma and other major retailers offline and online on Amazon and Flipkart.
