[Leaked] OnePlus 6 Renders Gives Us Some Glimpses

OnePlus next flagship device is dropping on May 16th and fans are already hyped about it. The company, OnePlus certainly managed to make a name for itself in the short span of 4 years. The fact that its phones pack flagship hardware but only sell for a fraction of a top-tier phone's price is definitely a huge factor. But guerilla tactics and viral marketing also played their part.




The OnePlus phones are cheaper than your Galaxies and your iPhones out there with a premium experience. Of course, corners have to be cut here and there, but these become less and less evident with each new iteration of the "flagship killer". The OnePlus 6 is expected to sport that modern all-screen look, controversial notch included, and a glass back, while holding some of the most powerful commercially-available phone hardware — a Snapdragon 845 with 6GB or 8GB of RAM.

Today, leaksters @OnLeaks and @CompareRaja have gotten to work and made a detailed render, based on all the solid leaks they have on the device thus far. These leaksters have proven to be pretty on point with their information numerous times in the past, so we'd take this render as being very close to the real thing. Without further ado, check out what the OnePlus 6 will most probably look like below:

And here are the specifications of OnePlus 6 based on the earlier leaks and company teasers:

• Display: The OnePlus 6 will sport a 6.28-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and aspect ratio of 19:9. There will be an iPhone X like notch at the top of the display, but users will get an option to hide the same via software update.
• Camera: There will be a vertically stacked dual camera setup on the rear consisting of 20-megapixel + 16-megapixel. The front will host a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls
• Processor/Chipset: The device will be fueled by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 flagship SoC with an Adreno 630 GPU.
• RAM: 6GB or 8GB
• Internal Storage: 128GB or 256GB depending on the variant
• Operating System: Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box
• Battery Capacity: 3,300 mAh with company’s Dash Charge 2.0 fast charging support
• Dimensions: 155.7 x 75.35 x 7.75mm
• Weight: about 175 grams
• Connectivity: Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy, NFC, USB Type-C port, 4G VoLTE, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, and BeiDou

OnePlus also revealed that the OnePlus 6 will be water resistant. This makes it the first OnePlus device to have water resistance capability. The certification is not yet known but it is expected to be IP67. The phone will arrive with glass chassis and will support wireless charging.

For those who are unaware, the OnePlus 6 will be an Amazon Exclusive phone in India and will go on sale from May 22. The Amazon Prime users will get an early access to the sale on May 21. OnePlus has also planned popup-events in several cities on May 21 where it will allow the fans to purchase the OnePlus 6 before its official release date.

For the Avengers fans, the OnePlus 6 Avengers-Infinity War Edition will also be launched in India on May 17 along with the regular variant.
