When we talk about wallpapers, Google Wallpapers might not be one of Google's most popular Android apps, but the company is certainly committed to making it better and more useful. Not long after the app was updated with new wallpapers (plus UI enhancements and bug fixes), it's been discovered that it now contains two completely new wallpaper categories: Art, and Solid Colors.
Art mostly includes cool patterns and digital art, while Solid Colors is - yep, you've guessed it - the place to go if you just need simple, solid color wallpapers. The addition of these new categories isn't mentioned in any change log. Nevertheless, the app certainly didn't include the two categories earlier this week.
It looks like there are also some fresh wallpapers in the other (older) categories - Cityscape, Earth, Landscapes, Life, and Textures. All in all, over 300 high-resolution wallpapers are now available and you can use them on any device running at least Android 4.1.
Have you tried Google Wallpapers on your Android device until now? If not, go ahead and download it from Google Play or you can side load it via installing the APK from APKMirror below :
