Samsung has already made a Batman edition of its Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, so it should come as no surprise that the company is working on an Olympic edition of its flagship device, according to SamMobile. Samsung’s new Galaxy S7 edge Olympic Edition has leaked out ahead of its official debut. The device sports an Olympic logo on its back, and colorful accents around its camera and LED flash, fingerprint scanner, and earpiece.
We first heard Samsung was working on a Galaxy S7 edge Olympic Edition around three months ago, but we had no idea what it would look like. Now the leaked press render above, published by the ever-reliable Evan Blass (@evleaks), reveals all.
The device is mostly made up of cool black glass, which helps its colored accents stand out even more. On its front, there’s a yellow earpiece grille and ring around the fingerprint scanner, while its back contains blue rings around the camera and flash.
If you look closely, you’ll also notice the physical buttons on the side of the handset have also been colored. The power button has been painted a rich red, while the volume up and down keys are a bright green.
On the inside, we expect the Galaxy S7 edge Olympic Edition to be exactly the same as the original model. However, SamMobile reports that the device could ship with some exclusive apps and content for Rio 2016 pre-installed.
It’s unclear when the Galaxy S7 edge Olympic Edition will be officially unveiled, but a recent report suggested it might show up alongside the Galaxy Note 7 in August.
