With the OnePlus 3 rumored to make its official debut on June 14, the phone has been granted certification by TENNA for operation in China. That may sound like a boring detail to most, but every TENAA-certified device is given a database listing with details on all its major components. While we’ve known about most of the OnePlus 3’s specs, all the information that’s been shared up until now has been based on rumors, speculation and leaks.
The official TENAA database entry for the OnePlus 3 shows that the phone will be powered by a 2.15 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, 16MP main camera, 8MP front-facing camera, 3,000 mAh battery and a 5.5-inch 1080p display. The OnePlus 3 will measure 152.6 × 74.6 × 7.3mm, weighing 160 grams. Based on previous leaks, the phone is also expected to feature a fingerprint sensor and NFC support.
Besides its lower-resolution display, the OnePlus 3 isn’t much different than most 2016 flagship smartphones. At what price point would you be willing to pass on the Samsung Galaxy S7, HTC 10 or LG G5 to give the OnePlus 3 a try?
