[Leaked] WhatsApp Video Calling is Coming Soon

Earlier today, some reports surfaced about the video call feature of WhatsApp. Now there are screenshots have surfaced which shows the screen for video calling. This could mean that the feature of video calling on WhatsApp is coming soon or not far away.
Video calling with WhatsApp is a step closer to be the most popular or a packaged app. 

These are screenshots from the iOS version, the interface of the Android app can be different because of this.

On the screenshots you can see that there can be switched between the camera on the back and the front camera. The microphone can be muted as well. The display shows the other person's screen. Also, you can see yourself in a smaller window.


A few months ago was calling function in WhatsApp rolled out. By offering video calling WhatsApp will be an alternative to Google Hangouts and Skype. It is currently not known yet when we can expect video calling WhatsApp.
