Dropbox For Android Gets Refined Search, Android L Support And More

 Dropbox has rolled out new version of its Android app and now it is available from the Play Store. The New version of the Dropbox for Android includes a refined search or redesigned search function to make it easier to look for the files that you need. Here are the things which are added to the search feature:

• Search in specific folders or the entire Dropbox
• Keep track of recent searches
• Search suggestions that’ll pop up as you type
• Highlights names of matching files and folders as you type

You will now have in-app previews of Word, PowerPoint and PDF files, as said earlier, New search experience can tracks recent queries and shows type-ahead suggestions and for business users you can have View-only permissions for shared folders.

Further are some performance fixes with cache enhancements along with some improvements.
